Chuck Blazer / CONCACAF

The former CONCACAF executive’s own plea and its place in the FIFA investigation.

What the record says

The US Justice Department unsealed Blazer’s guilty plea in 2015. The former CONCACAF general secretary and FIFA executive committee member admitted racketeering conspiracy and other offenses including tax and foreign-account charges. His plea does not prove charges against every other football official.

Read this carefully. Blazer pleaded guilty in 2013 to a 10-count federal information; this is his disposition, distinct from charges against Warner.
